how nice
I went to see my friend Melissa's baby last night in the hospital. No, nothing is wrong, she is still there from having the baby two nights ago... :) What a wonderful joy such a tiny baby can bring. She is a pound heavier than Riley was when she was born, but I just don't remember Riley being that small ... o my goodness is she small!! Riley was so huge to me last night when I got home. Then again, she is going to be 9 mos in 2 days. lol
When I got home there were diapers strewn all over from Riley playing with and in the diaper bag, Madison was eating spaghetti in the living room on the coffee table and there were toys everywhere... what was going on?! I wondered... then Chris ran over to me all showered from work, nicely shaven (more like trimmed) and hair done with a nice shirt on and jeans ... He made me close my eyes (after I picked Riley up of course... she hadn't seen me in about 2 1/2 hours ... God forbid! haha) ... he walked me to the dining room and there was set the most beautiful meal I have ever laid my eyes on ... Buffalo style T-bone steak, tossed salad, garlic butter spaghetti, corn on the cob, and red carnations in a vase ... it was wonderful! :) It TASTED even more wonderful than it looked!!!! I thought, "wow ... my husband is so amazing ...!" *he even did the dishes .....
